GATE 2013 Online form submission has been extended by another 3 days and the new date for submission of GATE 2013 Online Form is 3rd October. However, you have to register your e-mail within today (i.e. 1st October) and only with this e-mail you can register till 3rd October, 2012 for GATE 2013.

As the form submission date is almost over, this blog post is being made to analyze which are the PSU recruiting through GATE 2013 – industry sector-wise as well as to give you the date of submission of application forms for those PSU as a list, branch-wise. Although I had posted another hugely popular blog post titled: Jobs through GATE 2013 List of PSU Organisation recruiting, that article does not give you ready-made information like: if you are suppose from “X” branch of engineering, which are the PSU you can apply for jobs, based on GATE 2013. That article was meant to provide you information about the notifications as and when the recruitment notifications was issued by the PSUs.

While giving you the branch-wise form submission dates for PSU recruiting thru GATE 2013, let me tell you that so far 13 PSUs have advertised for jobs based on GATE 2013. But there may be another few, which will come up with the notification, even after the last date of form submission for GATE 2013 is over. For instance: Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) Ltd. issued the recruitment notification for 70 engineers based on GATE 2012 very recently on 1st September, much after GATE 2012 result was declared on 15th March, 2012.

How do you keep track of these PSUs which will issue the recruitment advertisement later? Well, just keep coming to this blog as often as possible – I am going to update the blog with exclusive blog articles, similar to the listed below:

So coming back to the topic of this article: Branch-wise form dates, I have prepared an excel sheet - which will give you the form dates, corresponding to your branch along with the name of PSU.
You can just take a print-out and paste it on the wall to keep you reminding about the dates.

In another sheet of the same file, I have given PSU-wise vacancies based on GATE 2013 - you can have some idea about which PSU is recruiting how many from which branches. 


While preparing the vacancies, I found that Mechanical Engineering branch can apply for all the PSUs, except PGCIL (which is recruiting only from Electrical). Next to Mechanical, Electrical Engineering is most sought after by these PSUs, followed by Civil, Instrumentation & Electronics.
