State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Recruitment 2013 Notification for recruitment of 19000 clerks is shortly going to be published, if news going around such as this is to be believed. I am therefore posting this blog article, so as to keep you posted about what are the Eligibility for recruitment of clerical cadre in SBI and also how to apply for the same (i.e. by filling the online Application Form), based on previous years info (i.e. based on SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012).

State-wise vacancies for SBI Clerk recruitment 2013:

The first thing that you should know is clerk recruitment for all PSU banks (SBI as well as recruitment for other banks done by IBPS) is held state-wise. This is an important piece of information because not only you have to apply against vacancy of only one particular state, it will be an added qualification, if you have knowledge of local language of that state.

Eligibilities for SBI Clerical recruitment:

Minimum academic eligibilities for SBI Clerical Staff exam (as per previous SBI recruitment):

1) Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS) in 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent qualification. OR Graduation  degree from a recognized university.

2) You should be able to write and speak English fluently.

3) Knowledge of local language of the state for which you want to apply.will be an added qualification.

Age Eligibility: 18 years to 28 years.

Upper age limit is relax able as SC/ST: 5years, OBC: 3 years & PWD: 10-13 years.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2013 Online form:

You can apply for these clerical positions in SBI only through online application form. There is no offline form. You can submit the application fee either online or offline
