Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) has recently issued Recruitment Notification 2013 for a total of 418 Engineer Trainee vacancies: 148 Assistant Engineer Trainee & 270 Junior Engineer Trainee, besides 15 vacancy of Shift Chemist Trainee. As per this notification, submission of form starts from 25th March, 2013 and the last date of submission of Online form is 13th April, 2013. While for Assistant Engineer Trainee positions eligibility required is graduate in engineering, or Assistant Engineer Trainee positions eligibility required is Diploma in engineering.

CSEB Chhattisgarh Recruitment 2013 Eligibility
Eligibility for CSEB Assistant Engineer Trainee:
Age: (as on 31.01.2013)

Min: 21 years., Max: 30 years for candidates outside of Chhattisgarh, 35 years for UR candidates of Chhattisgarh and 40 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh.

Academic Qualification Eligibility: BE/B. Tech/B. Sc (Engg)/AMIE from respective disciplines.

Eligibility for CSEB Junior Engineer Trainee:

Age: (as on 31.01.2013)

Min: 19 years., Max: 35 years for UR candidates and 40 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Academic Qualification Eligibility: Diploma (3-years) in relevant disciplines.

Eligibility for CSEB Shift Chemist Trainees:

Age: (as on 31.01.2013)

Min: 21 years., Max: 30 years for candidates outside of Chhattisgarh, 35 years for UR candidates of Chhattisgarh and 40 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh.

Academic Qualification Eligibility:  Min. 65% (for SC/ST: 55%) in M.Sc. (Chemistry).

Selection Process for CSEB Chhattisgarh Recruitment 2013:

Selection process for Assistant Engineer Trainee and Shift Chemist Trainees consists of a written test followed by Interview. There is 10 marks for Interview.  However there is no written test for Junior Engineer Trainee.

The written test consists of 80 marks on professional subject and 20 marks for aptitude (GK & Reasoning). The  CSEB Recruitment exam paper would consist of Objective type questions only. There is negative marking: -0.25 for each wrong answer.

CSEB Chhattisgarh Recruitment 2013 Online Form:
