Notification for CONCOR MT Recruitment 2013 thru GATE 2013

Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) MT recruitment notification 2013 for Management Trainee (MT) has come out just today and just like 11 of its PSU siblings, CONCOR is going to recruit the  Management Trainees  through GATE 2013. The current notification issued by CONCOR is only a curtain-raiser notification and a more detailed notification is going to be published soon in this CONCOR career website.

What is Container Corporation of India Ltd.

CONCOR (Container Corporation of India) Ltd. is a prestigious Miniratna PSU under Ministry of Railways, established in March 1988. It commenced operations in November 1989 by taking over an existing network of seven Inland Container Depots (ICDs) from Indian Railways. 

In addition to providing inland transport by rail for containers, it now has also expanded to cover management of Ports, air cargo complexes and establishing cold-chain. CONCOR at present has a network of 61 ICDs/CFSs (Container Freight Stations) throughout India. You can find this network of CONCOR terminals in this map.

Subsequent to your online submission of application forms CONCOR MT  Recruitment 2013 and after GATE 2013 result is declared, CONCOR is going to obtain your GATE 2013 scores and shortlist the candidates for  CONCOR GD & Interview. After this final merit list would be prepared.

GATE 2013 papers for CONCOR MT  Recruitment 2013:

As above Management Trainee recruitment is going to be from the engineering disciplines of Mechanical  and Computer Science & IT, you have to appear in GATE 2013 papers of ME & CS respectively.

How to apply for MT Recruitment 2013: Online Form

There is no offline form for CONCOR MT Recruitment 2013. You have to apply online only.
You have to register (i.e. apply) actually twice for CONCOR MT positions- Once for GATE & than for CONCOR.

First you have to apply online for GATE 2013.

Last date for applying online for GATE 2013 is 30th September, 2012. Only 10 days remains. So better hurry!

Subsequent to your online registration for GATE 2013, you would be able to download the GATE 2013 Admit card from 5th December, 2012 onwards. You than have to use the "GATE-2013 Registration Number" as given in the admit card to register online for CONCOR.

The CONCOR MT Recruitment 2013 Online form would be available in January 2013 in this CONCOR Career website.

Start date for online registration for GATE 2013: 01.09.2012.
Last date of online registration for GATE 2013: 30..09.2012.

Date of availability of GATE 2013 Admit Card (hence GATE-2013 Registration Number): 05.12.2012.

Online registration for CONCOR MT  Recruitment 2013: January 2013.

GATE-2013 Online examination: 20th January 2013 (Sunday)
GATE-2013 Offline examination: 10th February 2013 (Sunday)
GATE-2013 result date:15th March, 2013 (Friday).

CONCOR MT Recruitment 2013 GD/Interview Dates:

CONCOR notification is silent about the date on which GD/Interview would be held, as they would shortlist the candidates only after GATE 2013 result is declared on 15th March, 2013. Therefore, you can expect the call letter only after this date – may be in the last week of March or first week of April, 2013.
