Many of those among you who wants to appear in engineering entrance exams this year wants to know what are the exam dates and when the application forms would be available. This article has therefore been posted to provide you the Calendar for Engineering Entrance Exam 2016: Form and Exam Dates.

This would help you to schedule your own exam preparation and choose which exam to appear in those busy dates in April/May 2016, as the date of many of the exams either clashes or are closely spaced.

I have grouped these exams in following three categories:

1.0 National level - i.e. All India Engineering Entrance Exams.

3.0 Institute Level Engineering Entrance Exams: Mostly for private colleges.

JEE (Main) 2016:

JEE (Main) is the most sought after engineering college entrance exam in India. It helps you get get admissions in 30 NITS, 12 IIITs and 17 other Govt. institutes apart from 46 Self Financed Institutions.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is the engineering entrance
exam for Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore & Chennai campus.

SRMJEE 2016:

SRMJEE is the Joint Engineering Entrance Examination for SRM University (Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University) which is a co-educational private university in the state of Tamil Nadu.

IPU-CET is the Common Entrance Test (CET) for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

WB-JEEM 2016:

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is the Common Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the State.

COMEDK UGET-2016:
COMEDK UGET is the Common entrance test for Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges in Karnataka.

UPSEE 2016:
UP State Entrance Examination is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University for Admission to first Year in B. Tech /B.Arch. / B.Pharm./ BHMCT/BFAD/BFA in UP.

JCECE 2016:
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE) is the single window Entrance Test for admission to various medical, agriculture, engineering courses offered by the various government/private/ universities & institutions affiliated under the JCECE board.

Assam-CEE 2016:
Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), Assam helps you get admission in following Engineering Colleges located in Assam:
(i) Assam Engineering College, Guwahati.
(ii) Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat.
(iii) Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat.
(iv) Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar
(v) Private Engineering Colleges and State Universities of Assam.

KEA-CET 2016:
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted for admissions in in Medical, Dental and Engineering colleges in Karnataka. There is another exam in Karnataka COMEDK UGET. The difference is while COMEDK UGET is purely for unaided private institutes, CET, Karnataka is mainly for Govt-run institutes, where private (aided/unaided) institutes also participates. But if you have not studied in Karnataka or if either of your parent's mother tongue is not Kannada, you can not appear in CET, Karnataka.

EAMCET 2016:
EAMCET is Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
