NTPC SAIL Power Company Private Limited (NSPCL) has issued advertisement for recruitment of 64 trainees – 30 Diploma Engineer Trainees, 30 ITI Trainees and 4 Lab Assistant Trainees. Selection for these trainee positions would be done through a written test to be held on 11th January, 2015. Submission of online form is already underway and 30th November, 2014 is the last date of submission of online application form.

First a synopsis on NSPCL.
What is NSPCL:
NSPCL was founded in 2001 as a joint venture company of two Maharatnas- NTPC and SAIL. Currently it has three power plants at three located in Bhilai, Durgapur & Rourkela. It supplies power to SAIL plants, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Chhattisgarh State. Its current installation capacity is 814 MW. NSPCL is going for capacity expansion of 1X250 MW at Rourkela and 2X20 MW at Durgapur immediately.
NSPCL Trainee Vacancy 2014:
As said there are a total vacancy of 64 positions, with post-wise break up as below:
Diploma Engineer Trainees: Mechanical: 17, Electrical: 08, Control & Instrumentation: 05
ITI Trainees: Fitter: 21, Electrician: 07, Instrument Mechanic: 02
Lab Assistant Trainees: B. Sc. with Chemistry: 04.
Salary Offered:
NSPCL is offering following salary for the trainees:
Consolidated stipend during training:
Diploma Engineer Trainee: Rs. 15500/- per month
ITI Trainee: Rs. 11500/- per month
Lab Assistant Trainee: Rs. 11500/- per month
Scale of Pay (IDA) after successful completion of Training:
Diploma Engineer Trainee: Rs. 15500-3%-34500/-
ITI Trainee: Rs. 11500-3%-26000/-
Lab Assistant Trainee: Rs. 11500-3%-26000/-
NSPCL Trainee Eligibility:
Age: (as on 30.11.2014)
Min: 18 years: Max: 27 years.
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Diploma Engineer Trainee
Minimum 70% marks in engineering Diploma in relevant disciplines as given below:
Diploma Engineer Trainee (Mechanical): Mechanical Engineering
Diploma Engineer Trainee (Electrical): Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Diploma Engineer Trainee (Control & Instrumentation): Control & Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
ITI Trainee:
Class 10 pass with ITI certificate in relevant trade as given below:
ITI Trainee (Fitter): ITI (Fitter)
ITI Trainee (Electrician): ITI (Electrician)
ITI Trainee (Instrument Mechanic) : ITI (Electronics)/ ITI(Instrument Mechanic)
Lab Assistant Trainee:
Full time regular B. Sc. with Chemistry (Chemistry must be a subject in final year)/ Graduate in Industrial/Applied Chemistry.
NSPCL Trainee Selection Process:
