Intelligence Bureau (IB) of MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) has just yesterday published ACIO 2014 Exam Notification for Recruitment of 750 ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) vacancies. As per the notification, submission of application form has already started and the last date to apply online is 9th November, 2014. The date for IB ACIO Exam 2014 (written ) has not been declared at this stage, but would be notified later.
This recruitment exam notification has been published in Employment News dated 11th October, 2014 as well as in major national/regional dailies. This is the official source of the notification. Intelligence Bureau has been conducting IB ACIO exam for the last 4 years and for the same number of vacancies (i.e. 750) each year. What is Intelligence Bureau, India:
IB is India's internal intelligence agency (the external intelligence agency being RAW-Research and Analysis Wing) under Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. Its basic function is to garner intelligence from within India and also execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. Its employee consists of those from law enforcement agencies, mostly from the Indian Police Service and the military.
IB is headed by Director Intelligence Bureau (a senior IPS officer). Its Employee strength is believed be around 25,000. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer in Grade-II for which this recruitment advertisement has been made is a Non-Gazetted Group 'C' Officer, equivalent to a Sub-inspector.

This is the same number of vacancies as was for last three ACIO recruitment in 2011, 2012 & 2013.
Salary for an IB ACIO:
Intelligence Bureau is offering Assistant Central Intelligence Officers salary in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (plus usual Central Govt. allowances).

IB ACIO exam 2014 would be held in 33 cities/towns all over India as given below:
Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Trivandrum, Varanasi & Vijaywada.
Eligibility for IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers:
Age Eligibility: (as on 09.11.2014 – last date of application)
Min: 18 years, Max: 27 years.
Age relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years.
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computer .
IB ACIO Recruitment 2014 Online Application Form:
Examination fee for IB ACIO Exam 2014 is Rs. 100/= - but same needs to be paid only by male candidates belonging to General and OBC category. There is no physical/offline form for this recruitment and you have to apply through online application form only for ACIO exam.
Downloading IB ACIO Exam 2014 Admit Card:
You can download your admit card/call letter for IB ACIO Exam 2014 from around two weeks before the date of exam.You would be sent information regarding downloading of the Admit Card in your mobile as well as in the e-mail. So check the same frequently nearer the exam date.
