Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) Recruitment Notification 2013 has come out recently for a huge recruitment of 5741 vacancy of Technical Helper, Technician, Hydel Operator & Plant Attendants. This large scale recruitment is being done for five power sector PSUs of Govt. of Rajasthan as given in short introduction given below. As per this JVVNL Recruitment 2013 Notification, submission of online application form has already started from 20.10.2013 and the last date of submission of form is 14th November, 2013. JVVNL written exam for selection of these vacancies would be held on 15th December, 2013.

I start this article with a small note on each of these power sector companies of Rajasthan.

RVPNL:

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPNL) owns, builds, maintains and operates the high-voltage electric transmission system that helps to keep the lights on and businesses running in Rajasthan. It was established on 19th July, 2000 by Govt. of Rajasthan under the provisions of the Rajasthan Power Sector Reforms Act, 1999 succeeding erstwhile Rajasthan State Electricity Board  (RSEB).

RVUNL

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) is responsible for generation of power in Rajasthan. Total installed capacity of RVUNL is 5057.35 MW through nine power plants. In addition, RVUNL manages and operates two Inter State Projects: Rana Pratap and Jawahar Sagar Hydel PS.

VVNL

The three Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited are responsible for distribution and supply of electricity in Rajasthan: Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL), Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (Jd.VVNL). 

Area of operation of these VVNL are as follows:

JVVNL: 12 districts of Rajasthan - Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Karauli.

AVVNL: 11 districts of Rajasthan -Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Doongarpur and Pratapgarh. 

Jd.VVNL: 11 districts of Rajasthan - Jodhpur, Bikaner, Barmer, Churu, Hanumangarh,  Jalore, Pali, Shriganganagar, Jaisalmer, Sirohi. 

JVVNL Vacancy 2013:

There are a total vacancy of 5741 vacancy of Technical Helper, Technician, Hydel Operator & Plant Attendants in these five power sector companies of Rajasthan. You can find the company-wise break-up of the vacancy in the table at right.

JVVNL Salary for :

Salary offered by the Power Sector Companies for these Technical Helper, Technician, Hydel Operator & Plant Attendant positions is in the pay-scale of Pay Band 2 (Rs. 5,200-20,200) with Grade Pay: Rs. 2000/=. But however for initial probation period of two years consolidated stipend of Rs. 6400/= per month is offered.

Eligibility required for JVVNL Vacancy 2013:

Age Eligibility : (as on last date of for submission: 14th November, 2013)

Min: 18, Max:: 28 years (Age relaxations exists as per Govt rule).

Educational Qualification Eligibility : Secondary from RBSE/CBSE or any other equivalent Board along with ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/NAC or equivalent qualification in the relevant trades as given in section: "Educational Qualification & Age" in page-3-6 of the notification.

Selection Process for JVVNL Recruitment 2013:

Selection Process for Technical Helper, Technician, Hydel Operator & Plant Attendant position in these five power sector companies of Rajasthan consists of a written exam only. There is no interview. JVVNL Exam consists of 250 marks that has to be answered in 2 hours. It has of two parts: GK & Technical Knowledge.
