SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012 Notification has come out recently for a huge recruitment of  9500 Clerks – out of which 8500 are  for Assistants & 1000 for Stenographers. Submission of online form would begin from 5th March, 2012 and the last date to apply for these SBI Clerical positions is 26th March, 2012.

State-wise vacancies for SBI Clerk recruitment 2012:

You can find in the table at right state-wise, category-wise vacancy position for this SBI Special recruitment drive 2012. 

Why this state-wise vacancy is important in Clerk recruitment in banks? It is because you have to apply against only one state and knowledge of local language of that state will be an added qualification.

Important dates for SBI Clerk Exam 2012:

On-line Registration started from : 05.03.2012
Last Date for Online Registration : 26.03.2012
Payment of Fees : 07.03.2012 to 31.03.2012.
Date of downloading call letter : 12.05.2012.

Date for SBI Clerk Exam 2012: 27.05.2012 and 03.06.2012

Salary for SBI Clerk:
SBI is offering following pay-scale for the clerical staff: Rs. 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300. Wit this pay scale the monthly salary for SBI clerks is approx: Rs. 14,177/-

Eligibilities for SBI Clerical Staff exam are:

Minimum academic eligibilities for SBI Clerical Staff exam:

1) Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS) in 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent qualification. OR Graduation  degree from a recognized university.

2) You should be able to write and speak English fluently.

3) Knowledge of local language of the state for which you want to apply.will be an added qualification.

Age Eligibility: 18 years to 28 years (as on 01.12.2011)

Upper age limit is relax able as SC/ST: 5years, OBC: 3 years & PWD: 10-13 years.

Selection process for SBI Clerical Recruitment 2012:

Selections to these clerical positions would consist of a written test followed by Interview.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012 Online form:

You can apply for these clerical positions only online. There is no offline application form.

Call letter for SBI Clerical exam 2012:

SBI is not going to send you the call letters SBI Clerk exam 2012 but you have to download the same from this website. You can download the call letter by entering your Registration Number  and Password/Date Of Birth from 12.05.2012. onwards. Also an "ACQUAINT YOURSELF BOOKLET" on the SBI clerical exam would be provided along with the call letter.
