Engineers India Limited (EIL) MT recruitment 2013 notification has been published recently for 46 Management Trainees from the Engineering & Management disciplines. These positions are for freshers. As per the notification, last date to apply for these EIL MT positions is  10th September, 2013.

What is EIL:

Set up in 1965 to help the vital petroleum industry in the country, EIL (Engineers India Limited) is a major construction engineering and consulting PSU in India. Over the years it has diversified into highways and bridges, ports & airports, mass rapid transport systems etc.

Based in New Delhi, EIL has a branch office at Mumbai, a zonal office at Kolkata, regional offices at Chennai and Vadodara and inspection offices at all major equipment manufacturing locations in India. It also has overseas offices at London, Abu Dhabi, Nigeria, South Africa(Johannesburg)Kuwait, Qatar, and Malaysia.

There are a total of 46 total vacancies in this recruitment. You can find the discipline-wise vacancy of the Management Trainee positions in EIL in the table at left.

EIL Salary for Management Trainee:

Salary for Management Trainee:

Stipend of Rs. 35,000/- p.m. and other benefits.

This salary/stipend is for the 1-year training period, after which MT’s would be offered salary for Engineers as given below.

Salary for Engineers:

Pay scale of Rs.24900-50500. CTC : Rs. 10.5 lakhs per annum (approx.) 

EIL Eligibility criteria for Management Trainee (MT) positions:

Age Eligibility:

Max. 25 years as on 1.07.2013.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PD candidates & 3 yrs for OBC (non creamy layer).

Academic Eligibility:

For Engineering disciplines: Full time Engineering Degree course with B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc (Engg)
For Management discipline:  Full time MBA/MSW/ Equivalent PG course in HR.

Candidates should either pass out in 2012 or should be passing out in 2013.

Min. 65%, (aggregate of all semesters/ years, till last result declared) for all categories.
Min. CGPA: (if results are declared in grade point instead of %age)
10 point scale: 7.0
9 point scale: 6.0
8 point scale: 5.3
7 point scale: 4.6
6 point scale: 4.0
5 point scale: 3.3
4 point scale: 2.5

Disciplines eligible:
1. Mechanical
2. Chemical
3. Civil
4. Electrical

Academic qualifications should be from a recognized institute/university.

Selection process for EIL Management Trainee:EIL MT would be selected through at first a written test, followed by Interview. The written test is likely to be conducted in October 1st week 2013.
Written exam would be conducted at test centres in following city/towns:
Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Vadodara.

EIL MT Exam 2013 important dates:

Date of submission of EIL Online form starts: 12.08.2013.
Last date of registration for EIL MT exam 2013: 10.09.2013.

Date of EIL MT Written test 2013:  October 1st week 2013.
