The RBI Officers Exam 2015 would be held on 21st and 22nd November, 2015. for selection of Grade-B Officers and this blog article has been posted to provide you the RBI Officer Exam 2015 Pattern, Papers & Books. Without wasting time further, let us discuss about the selection process and pattern of RBI Recruitment Exam for Officers.
RBI Officer Selection process:
The selection process for Grade-B Officers in RBI consists of a two phase exam -
Phase -I: Online Exam (Objective type): 200 marks, 2 hours: on 21st and 22nd November, 2015.
Phase -II: Online Exam (Mixed type): 300 marks: on December 7, 2015.
Further to this, Interview of 50 marks would be held for those selected in the written exam.
Marks of Phase-I (i.e. Online Objective type Exam) is for the purpose of screening only for selecting candidates for Phase-II (i.e. Mixed type). Final merit list for RBI Officer Recruitment 2015 would be based on marks secured in Phase-II exam and the Interview i.e. out of 350 marks.

There are three papers in Phase-II RBI Officers Exam. Of this, Paper-I & Paper-III are Objective type while Paper-II is Descriptive type. Each paper has 100 marks which has to be answered in 1.5 hours. You can find test sections in the table at left, along with marks and duration for each test.

RBI Officer Exam 2015 Pattern:
The Phase-I RBI Exam consists of a single paper with four test sections, which contains Objective type questions and you need to appear it Online. This 200 marks test has to be answered in 2 hours. You can find test sections in the table at right, along with approximate number of questions in each test.
The above RBI Exam pattern is very similar to PSU Bank PO exams such as IBPS CWE PO Exam, SBI PO Exam etc - they have the same test sections, of same duration as well as of same marks. Also, even the minimum educational qualification requirement is same - graduation. Hence you can use the prep materials for the Bank PO exams to prepare for the RBI Exam.
Based on relative performance of all candidates taken together, RBI is going to decide the Cut-Off mark of each test section as well as for the aggregate of Phase-I RBI Exam .You have to score above these RBI Exam Cut-Off marks - each test as well aggregate. It is only if you qualify on both that you are going to be called for Phase-II RBI Exam.
