 Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) in IAF recruitment forms an important part of the IAF selection process for both IAF FTS recruitment as well as recruitment through AFCAT. IAF EKT Exam Pattern: IAF EKT is a 1 hour duration test with 75 objective type questions from following two parts: Part A - General Engineering Paper: 40 Questions. Part B - Specialist Engineering Paper: 35 Questions You have to qualify in each of the General and Specialist paper individually. While the General Engineering Paper is common to all engineering disciplines, the Specialist Engineering Paper is held for following disciplines of engineering: Computer and Electronics Engineering. Mechanical Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering. Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering. Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical).
