AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) MBBS Entrance Exam is one of the toughest entrance exams to crack. The reason being simple – AFMC happens to be among the top 3 medical colleges in India and the intake per year is only 130 (105 boys & 25 girls). So most of the time AFMC entrance aspirants have problem in finding the right prep materials – the sample papers and books for AFMC entrance exam.

But first: the pattern/scheme of AFMC MBBS Entrance exam.
AFMC MBBS Entrance exam pattern/scheme:
AFMC exam consists of a 200 question, 200 mark paper which has got five sections – three section for three science subjects and the rest two for Test of reasoning and Test of English Language. This has to be answered in two hours.

As you have found out, majority of the marks is for Science subjects – 150 marks. However the 50 marks non-science test sections of AFMC paper also plays a very important role in deciding about the final position in the merit list. So do not just neglect them! Also, there is negative marking in AFMC exam – minus 0.25 for each wrong answer. So your guess answers should not be wild ones!
AFMC Entrance exam Syllabus:
AFMC has prescribed the syllabus of Central/State Board Class-XI & XII for the entrance exam. So it would be better for you to go through the NCERT books of Class-XI & XII for CBSE. You can also find some online books in this link.

I had a hard time in finding good online sample paper/previous year’s papers of AFMC – they are hardly available. Also, the ones available are not of high standard/authentic. These exam papers of AFMC are as below:
