Patna District Court Recruitment Exam 2016 is going to be held for selection of 3674 Clerks, Stenographers and Typists. Patna Court Exam 2016 Pattern:

There are three categories of posts for which this exam is being held - Clerk, Stenographer, Deposition Writer-cum-Typist-cum Clerk. The pattern of exam for Clerk and Typist-cum Clerk is identical while exam pattern for Stenographer is somewhat different.

There are 100 marks based on which the merit list would be prepared for all of these three posts. This consists of a 90 marks Written test and 10 marks Interview. The Interview would be held only for those who qualifies in the written test. Based on the number of examinees, Patna District Court may in addition, go for online/objective test for screening the candidates for the written test.

As you can see above, the two language papers of English Language & Hindi Language carries 20 marks each, while the remaining two papers of Mathematics and GK carries 25 marks each.

For the post of Stenographer, online shorthand and typing test of both English and Hindi would  be conducted.

Syllabus of Patna Court Exam 2016:

Syllabus given by Patna District Court is as given below in the official notification:
English Language: Letter writing, essay, précis, comprehension and vocabulary.
Hindi Language: Letter writing, essay, précis, comprehension and vocabulary.
Mathematics of matriculation standard.
General knowledge and current affairs.

Prep Books for Patna Court Exam 2016:

There is no book on the market specifically for Patna District Court Clerk Exam.  Hence you have to depend on the prep books for other similar exams. This similar exams should have similar test sections as for that of Patna District Court Clerk Exam and also the eligibility required for the exam should be same.
