Getting back to the focus of this article, let us first find what is the Selection Process for OICL Assistants.

OICL Assistant Recruitment 2015 Selection Process:

The selection for these Assistant Vacancies would consist of an Online Exam, followed by Interview. While the Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam 2015 would consist of 250 marks, the same would be weighed down to 35 marks. For instance if you score 200 marks out of 250 Total marks in the online exam, for the purpose of merit list, your score would be taken as 28 marks, score out of 50 marks (i.e. 200/25 x 35=28).

The Interview on the other hand would consist of 15 marks. Thus for the purpose of merit list, total marks is 50 (i.e. 35 marks in the exam + 15 marks in the Interview).


Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam 2015 Pattern:


There are five test sections in Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam 2015: Test of Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Numerical Ability & Computer Knowledge. In each test section there are 40 questions, each question weighing 1.25 marks. Thus, there are a total of 200 question of 250 marks for the whole online exam, which has to be answered within the test duration of 2 Hours.

There is negative marking in Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam - 1/4th mark for each wrong answer (i.e. 0.3125) . So take care in marking guess answers carefully!

Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam 2015 Syllabus:

There is no specific syllabus for Oriental Insurance Assistant Exam 2015, as like most of the competitive recruitment exams. But its exam pattern and also the Eligibility required (i.e. graduation) is identical to IBPS CWE Clerk Exam Pattern as can be seen from the comparisons given in the table below.
