NICL Admin Officer Exam 2015 Pattern/Format:

As you may have found out, this exam is going to be held "ONLINE" and thus is not a "Paper-Pencil" test. You have to appear in the designated test venues as per your choice made during the online registration.

Secondly, this exam is for two categories of Admin Officers:

1.0 Admin Officer (Generalist): For the persons with degree in any discipline.

2.0 Admin Officer (Specialist): For the persons with degree in Finance/Automobile Engineering/IT/Legal.

The pattern of AO officers exam although is almost identical, there is an extra paper for the test of Technical & professional knowledge for the Admin Officer (Specialist). 

The five test sections which are common are:

1.0 Reasoning: Objective type.

2.0 English Language: Objective type.

3.0 General Awareness: Objective type.

4.0 Quantitative aptitude: Objective type.

5.0 English: Descriptive type.

You have to answer the Objective test sections in 2 hours and the Descriptive test in 45 minutes.

This exam pattern is very similar to the Bank PO (Probationary Officers) exam i.e. IBPS CWE PO Exam, as you can find the pattern of the PO exam at right. There is however no test section of "Computer Knowledge" in NICL  Admin Officer Exam.

Therefore, you can base your preparation for NICL AO Exam 2015 with the prep materials for IBPS CWE PO Exam.
