VITEEE 2015 Prep Materials
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2015 date has been announced - it is going to be held from 8th to 19th April, 2015 in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Are you one of those appearing in this exam? Than this article is precisely for you : to help you prepare for VITEEE 2015 with prep materials. It would at first tell you what is the pattern of this exam and than provide you the Syllabus, Sample Papers and Prep Books.

But first you must naturally want to know how many seats are there in VIT for each branch of engineering. Also it gives you some idea on how much mark you should score to get a VIT seat.

 Without wasting time further, let us know what is the exam pattern of VITEEE.

 VITEEE 2015 Exam Pattern:
VITEEE is a single paper examination which has following three parts:
PART-I – Physics
PART-II – Chemistry
PART-III – Mathematics / Biology.

You can appear in VITEEE either with PCM or with PCB. If you appear VITEEE with PCB, you can choose 3 branches only: Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology and Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics). On the other hand if you appear with PCM, you would be eligible for all the 15 programmes offered.

There are 40 Objective type questions in each of the three parts, with each question worth 1 mark. Thus there are a total of 120 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. You would therefore have about 75 seconds for answering each question.

There is no negative marking for wrong answers in VITEEE.
So do not leave any question unanswered!
