Just like twelve other PSUs who has brought out notification for recruitment of graduate engineers through GATE 2015, Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) has also issued the Recruitment Notification of Executive Trainees (ET)  through GATE 2015 for the Mechanical & Electrical engineering discipline. MDL proposes to fill 34 vacancies through this recruitment with break-up as follows:
Mechanical Engineering: 25
Electrical Engineering: 9

MDL Recruitment Process through GATE 2015:

You must be knowing already that when you apply for GATE-2015, you get the GATE-2015 registration number (as printed on the GATE Admit card). Now, when submitting the Mazagon Dock Limited online form, you have to fill this registration number as a part of the form. 

After you appear in the GATE and the results are announced, MDL is going to procure your GATE-2015 score from the GATE authority (i.e. corresponding to your registration number) and short-list the candidate for GD & Interview.

Jobe roles of ET in Mazagon Dock Limited:
The incumbent will have to handle job functions like ship/submarine construction, refits, modernization, in any of the relevant fields of planning/ design/ procurement/ fabrication/ berth/ outfitting/ quality assurance/ test and trials.

ET Salary in Mazagon Dock Limited:
Executive Trainees are offered salary by MDL in Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) Pay Scale of Rs. 16,400-40,500. With this pay scale CTC per year is Min: 5.59 (approx ), Max; 13.81 (approx)

Age Eligibility:

Upper Age limit: 26 years as on 02.02.2015
Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC & PWD is as per the Government Guidelines.

Educational Qualification Eligibility:

Minimum First Class or 60% Marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/Institute recognized by AICTE.

Final year students can also apply but you have to submit the proof of obtaining the eligibility on being selected for MDL.

Mechanical: Mechanical/ Mechanical & Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical & Production Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Production Engineering & Management/ Production & Industrial Engineering.

Electrical: Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation.

GATE 2015 Papers for MDL Recruitment:

You have to appear in ME & EE paper in GATE-2015, corresponding to your branch of engineering.

Important Dates:

Last date of Submission of form for GATE 2015: 14th October, 2014.

GATE 2015 Online Exam: 31st January, 1st, 7th, 8th and 14th February, 2015

Date of GATE 2015 Results: 12th March 2015 (17:00 Hrs)

Start date for MDL online form submission: 18.12.2014

Last date of online application: 02.02.2015

Date of  MDL Interview 2015: to be notified on 04.05.2015.
