SSC MTS Recruitment 2014 Exam Notification had come out last week and submission of form, both online and offline has already began. Date of the exam has still not been declared at this notification stage but going by the past trends, SSC MTS Exam 2014 should be held in March, 2014. Last date for submission of form is 13th December, 2013. This notification has come out in major national dailies as well as in Employment News dated 16.11.2013.

Introduction to SSC MTS Exam:
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts recruitment exams for Group “B” & “C” posts in the various central Govt. Ministries/Departments of India. It conducts the Multi-Tasking Staffs (MTS) Exam every year for recruitment of Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Farash, Chowkidar, Mali.
Number of post/vacancies in SSC MTS 2014:
The exact number of vacancies in MTS 2014 would be notified by SSC only later. However in past SSC MTS Recruitments, some 1300 odd vacancy are filled up every year.

Pay-Scale/Salary for SSC Multi-Tasking Staffs:
Pay Scale being offered for these MTS positions is: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800. (Pay Band-1),
Eligibility for SSC MTS Exam:
Age Eligibility: (as on 01.01.2014)
Min: 18 yrs, Max: 25 yrs. (DOB not earlier than 02.01.1989 and not later than 01.01.1996)
Academic Eligibility: (as on 13.12.2013)
Minimum Matriculation (i.e. Class-X pass or equivalent).

SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Selection Process:
The selection process for the SSC MTS Non-Technical Staff consists of a Written Exam which has two papers - Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I consists of 150 mark & Paper-II 50 mark. However, Paper-II is of qualifying nature only. Merit list will be decided based on Paper-I mark only.

Call letter/ Admit Card for SSC MTS Exam 2014:
You are supposed to receive your call letter (termed as “Admission Certificate” by SSC) atleast one week before the test date. You can also download online the admit card for SSC MTS Exam 2014. If you do not receive these Admission Certificate/Call letter one week before the date of examination, please contact the concerned regional/sub regional office of SSC with proof of having submitted your application.
