If you are a graduate engineer within 25 years of age, your now have the best chance for an Indian Navy Career - Indian Navy has recently issued Recruitment Notification 2014 for recruitment of engineers in Technical & Executive (General Service) branches of Indian Navy. What is this Indian Navy Engineer Recruitment all about?
Through this recruitment Indian Navy is going to select the officers for its Technical (GS) Branch and Executive (GS). Selected candidates would be absorbed as a Sub Lieutenant and undergo training for 22 & 44 Weeks Naval Orientation Courses respectively at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala followed by professional training in Naval Ships and Training Establishments.
As an officer in the Executive (GS) branch you look after the administrative and operational aspects while as an officer in the Technical (GS) branch you are responsible for the technical aspects.
Indian Navy Salary for Sub Lieutenant:
Salary offered by Indian Navy in entry level position of Sub Lieutenant is in the pay-scale of Rs. 15600-39100 in pay-band:3, with grade pay: Rs. 5400 and Military Service Pay: Rs. 6000/=. With this pay-scale, the CTC for a Sub Lieutenant is Rs. 66,500/- per month approx.
Selection Process for Engineers in Indian Navy SSC Recruitment:
Based on the marks secured by the applicants, Indian Navy is going to shortlist the candidates for the SSB Interview, scheduled to be held in Bangalore/ Bhopal/Coimbatore from January to May, 2014. The selection process for the engineers in this Indian Navy SSC Recruitment is through SSB Interview only.
Thereafter, the result is declared and the training is scheduled to commence from July 2014 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
Eligibility required for Engineer SSC Recruitment in Indian Navy:
Age Eligibility:
Min: 19½ years & Max: 25 years.
Your DOB should be from 2nd July 1989 to 1st January 1995.
Educational Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum 65% marks in aggregate in BE/B. Tech from a recognized university in the disciplines as given in the notification.
Indian Navy Engineer SSC Recruitment 2013 Online Form:
You have to apply only through online application form for this recruitment – there is no offline form.
