Last date of submission of application form for this WBSSC LDC Recruitment Exam 2013 is 13th September, 2013. This notification has been published in major regional/local daily of West Bengal. There are a total of 3050 vacancy of LDC (Lower Division Clerk/ Assistant) in various departments and you can find the department-wise vacancies in Govt. of West Bengal in the table at right.

Salary offered by Govt. of West Bengal through this WBSSC recruitment is in the pay-scale of Pay Band – 2: Rs. 5,400/- - 25, 200/- with Grade Pay: Rs. 2600/-
Selection Process for LDC Recruitment through WBSSC Exam:
Selection for these Lower Division Clerk/ Assistant positions consists of WBSSC LDC Exam 2013, which consists of two parts - Part I: 100 marks to be answered in 1 hour and 30 minutes and Part II: 100 marks to be answered in 1 hour which shall be conducted on the same day. However date of WBSSC LDC Exam 2013 has not been announced at this notification stage.

Eligibility for WBSSC LDC Recruitment Exam 2013:
Do you have the eligibility required for WBSSC LDC Exam 2013? You can find the eligibility below:
Age eligibility: (as on 01.01.2013)
Min: 18 years and Max: 40 years.
Academic Qualification eligibility:
i) A Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
ii) Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer operation from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 months - you should be able to type on Computer at the speed of 35 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bengali.

There are three modes by which you can submit your application form for this exam.
1.0 Through Online Application Form yourself:

2.0 By Online Application Form through Tathya Mitra Kendras:
For this, you have to visit one of the 5000 Tathya Mitra Kendras set up by the Govt. of West Bengal. How to apply through Tathya Mitra Kendras is also explained in section "B) Online Submission Through Tathya Mitra Kendras" in page-5 of the notification.
How to apply offline has been explained in section "C) Offline Submission" in page-5 of the notification.
The Examination Application Fee for WBSSC LDC Recruitment Exam 2013 is RS. 20/= for SC/ST/PWD & Rs. 220/= for others.
