A small primer on ICICI: What is it?
ICICI (Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India) Bank is India's second-largest bank (only next to SBI), among private sector banks, ICICI is the largest. ICICI is a behemoth among Indian banks - it employs over 81,000 employees and has a country-wide network of 3,130 branches and 10,486 ATM in India.
It also has presence in 18 countries abroad. Its total asset amounts to Rs. 5,367.95 billion (US$ 99 billion) at March 31, 2013 and profit after tax Rs. 83.25 billion (US$ 1,533 million) for the year ended March 31, 2013.

What is ICICI PO Programme?
ICICI PO Recruitment 2013 Online Application Form:
You can apply only on-line for ICICI PO program. There is no offline application form for ICICI PO Exam.
ICICI PO program is a catch-them-young program - 25 year old graduates are imparted a compulsory 1 year online training program in IMA (ICICI Manipal Academy for Banking and Insurance, which is located in the northern part of Bangalore. After this 1 year training program, the graduates are imparted qualification of PG Diploma in banking (PGDIB) and recruited as an Assistant Manager in ICICI.
After joining ICICI, you can opt to continue further study for MBA (Banking & Finance) for the next 18 months to earn a much coveted from Manipal University, which is a UGC approved program. This MBA program is an online study course, so that you can study as you continue to work in ICICI.
ICICI PO program is hence can be divided into two components:
Campus Component (1 year) – Semesters I & II - at the end of which you are recruited as AM in ICICI.
Online Component (1½ years) – Semesters III, IV & V - this is optional.
After joining ICICI, you can opt to continue further study for MBA (Banking & Finance) for the next 18 months to earn a much coveted from Manipal University, which is a UGC approved program. This MBA program is an online study course, so that you can study as you continue to work in ICICI.

1-year residential training program in ICICI i.e. PG Diploma in banking covers following courses:

- Private Banking
- Risk and Credit Management
- Treasury
- Branch Management

On successful completion of the year-long training program, the students are awarded a Diploma in Banking & Insurance and absorbed as an Asst. manager at ICICI Bank at a gross salary of more than 4.0 lakhs per annum.

Is this PO program free? No! You will have to pay for it, although ICICI will help you with soft loan meant for students. The 1 year ICICI PGDIB course costs you Rs. 3.35 lakhs while the second phase (i.e. Online Component for MBA) is worth Rs. 1.25 lakh. But ICICI offers you very soft loan to undertake this program: the loan EMI is Rs. 5,900/- per month approx and this EMI needs to be paid only after you join ICICI as Assistant Manager. With your salary of around Rs. 30,000 per month, you can pay this off easily.
Eligibility for ICICI PO Exam:
• Graduates with 55% in any discipline
• Maximum 25 years of age as on 31st October , 2013 (DOB on or after 1st November, 1988).

What is the selection procedure for ICICI Probationary Officers exam:

ICICI conducts a 3-tier selection process:
1.0 Online Aptitude Test.
2.0 Group Discussion.
3.0 Interview.
On top of above, for the successful students, it also conducts Psychometric Profiling.
