United Bank of India (UBI) Recruitment Notification 2012 for 751 Clerks has been published just today. Shortlisting for this clerk recruitment (named as Single Window Operators ‘A’ by United Bank) would be based on IBPS Common Written Exam 2011 for Clerks. Online submission of form is slated to start from 8th June, 2012 and the last date to apply online for United Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 is 22nd June, 2012.

This clerk recruitment notification by United Bank is a part of the recruitment process being carried out by 19 major PSU banks of India, based on IBPS CWE Clerk 2011 score. The Common Written Exam 2011 for Clerks was held on 27.11.2011 and the result was declared on 29th Feb, 2012. So far nine banks have issued recruitment notification for a total of 10,933 clerks. United Bank Clerk Vacancy 2012:

There are 1000 Clerk vacancies in United Bank as per the notification with category-wise vacancies as given below:
SC: 157, ST: 52, OBC: 163, GEN: 379, TOT: 751.

You can find the state-wise category-wise vacancies in the table at right. This State-wise vacancy is very important as you have to apply for the clerk positions state-wise and you should be able to read, write, speak local language of that state. Moreover you should have appeared IBPS CWE 2011 from a centre of that state for which vacancies you want to apply.

United Bank Clerk Salary:

Salary (i.e. Pay-scale) offered by United Bank for these Clerk positions is Basic Pay: Rs.7200 – 19300 with other benefits like DA, HRA, etc Approx salary per month with this pay scale is Rs. 13,800/=.

United Bank Eligibility for Clerks:

Age Eligibility (as on 01.08.2011): Min 18 yrs, Max 28 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt rule).

Educational Qualification Eligibility

Min 60% aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in Class XII OR
A graduation degree in any discipline.

Other United Bank Clerk Eligibility:

1.0 You should have appeared IBPS CWE 2011 from a centre in that State/UT for which you wish to apply.
2.0 You should be able to read, write and speak official language of that state.
3.0 You must have successfully completed a Min. 3-months basic computer course from an Institute recognized by Central/State Government/AICTE OR studied Computer as one of the subjects in Secondary /Higher secondary /Graduation level under 10+2+3 System.
4.0 Individual Test Cut-off in IBPS CWE: 24 for unreserved category and 21 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXS

Selection Process for United Bank Clerks:

Based on the CWE scores of the applicants received by United Bank, it is going to shortlist the candidates for personal interview.

Interview would consist of 100 marks. For General category candidates, you should score minimum 40% of Interview marks to qualify. For the reserved categories, Interview qualifying mark is 35%.

The Interview will be held at Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi , Chennai, Guwahati, Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Patna & Ranchi.

Final merit list for United Bank Clerk Recruitment would be prepared based on IBPS CWE mark & Interview mark.
