Tech degree in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering from prestigious university JNU and at the same time become a permanent commissioned officer in Indian Navy - all this for free!. Last date to apply for this Indian Navy 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme 2012 is 18th June, 2012.
What is Indian Navy 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme?
This is a catch-them-young program of Indian Navy. Once if you are selected for Indian Navy through this scheme, you are trained for 4-years in Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.
The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, is borne by the Indian Navy. You are also provided free clothing and hostel facilities. On successful completion of the 4-year course, you are awarded a B. Tech. either in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering by prestigious JNU (Jawahar Lal Nehru University). At the same time you are also absorbed as a Sub Lieutenant in Indian Navy (with pay-scale: Rs. 15600-39100=) in permanent commission.
This entrance-cum-recruitment exam is conducted twice every year for two batches - December & June batch, notification for which comes out in May & November. The notification for next Indian Navy 10+2 Tech Entry scheme i.e. for June 2013 batch is supposed to come out in the first week of November, 2012.

Eligibilities for Indian Navy 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme:
The Eligibilities as given in the above notification are as follows:
Min: 17 yrs, Max.:19½ years (i.e. born between 2nd July 1993 & 1st January 1996 -both dates inclusive).
2. Educational Qualification:
75% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class-XII or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII)
3. Physical Standards:
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.

You can apply only ONLINE for Indian Navy 10+2 Tech Entry scheme.
There is no offline application form.
In the resultant page, within the box for "Entry Type: 10+2 (B Tech) Cadet Entry Batch: DEC-12", click on the button "Apply Now" as shown highlighted above.
How to apply online for Indian Navy 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme has been given very clearly in section: “HOW TO APPLY” point 13,14,15 of the Notification
After filling your online application form, you have to take printout of the same and send it with other enclosures to following address:

Indian Navy 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry Selection process:
Subsequent to your applications, Indian Navy would shortlist the candidates and than the selection would be based on SSB interview scheduled to be held from July to Nov 2012 at Bangalore, Bhopal or Coimbatore.
