IB Security Assistant exam pattern:
IB has not said much about what would be the pattern of its Objective type written exam, other than that it would have 100 marks and contain sections on General Knowledge, Current awareness, Aptitude, Reasoning, General arithmetic and English. This exam format is very similar to bank clerk exams which have following test sections:

Each of these four test sections usually have about 50 questions, each question weighing 1 mark.

After you are short listed on the basis of above IB Objective type written exam for Security Assistants, you have to appear in Local language test (50 marks) and Interview (50 marks).

wrong post. you misguide peoples. its wrong syllabus. IB Assistant paper is on the state bases. like Rajisthan Punjabi Haryana and exam consists of no Aptitude, no Maths, just general awareness and GK. paper consists of 100 questions to be completed in 1 hr 30 min. out of 100 30 questions are from the state where the post is related for. e.g. if you fill post for chandigar Punjabi then 30 questions will be from Punjabi 15 from haryana i.e. nabouring states, rest from sports and politics. thats it. I read you blog and prepare whatever write in it but tomorrow was my exam and everything was different. please guide others if you know something

Dear Er. Hitesh Rohilla,
Thank you for posting the info on the exam pattern of "IB Assistant Exam". I am sure this would be useful to the future aspirants.

However, if you had gone through the IB Assistant Exam notification (you can find the Google Cache of the page
here
), you will find following:

"Selection of Candidates: .. would be called for an Objective Type test on General Knowledge, Current awareness, aptitude, reasoning, general arithmetic and English of 100 marks...".

If you see the wording of my post, you would find that I said only what was available on the notification and tried to provide materials on the same.

So there is no question of misguiding examinees.

However, I am sorry if my blog post in any way has discomforted you or any one else.

Also, just wonder if the reverse had happened: IB Notification saying that only GK would be asked and in actual exam paper you find everything else - Reasoning, aptitude, general arithmetic and English!

Best wishes and regards.
