Pattern of ICAR Agriculture Assistants Exam: Selection process for ICAR Agriculture Assistants consists of two written test - Prelims (200 marks) & Mains (200 marks). The Preliminary exam is of Objective type and is conducted ONLINE in 66 exam centres all over India. The Mains exam is on the other hand of Descriptive type.
ICAR Agriculture Assistants Preliminary exam is for screening purpose only. The final merit list is prepared based on the performance in the 200 marks Mains exam only.

Sample/Model paper for ICAR Agriculture Assistants Exam: As you can find in the above exam pattern for ICAR Agriculture Assistants, there is no paper for specialization (i.e. Agriculture). The weight is on three areas - English language, GK & Aptitude.
However point to note is that the Preliminary exam would be conducted online! So those of you who have never appeared in Online tests, it would be essential for you to have some experience on a real online test environment. Although this is an agriculture specialization sample paper, nevertheless, it would give you the online test experiences.
I had searched on the net for the previous years/model paper for ICAR Agriculture Assistants exam but however I could not find any authentic exam papers. In absence of the same, I suggest following sample papers of FCI Assistant Exam to be used to familiarize yourself with various exam sections, as the exam pattern of FCI Agriculture Assistants is similar to to that of ICAR:
