FCI Assistant Grade Exam Sample Papers/Books/Exam pattern : Career Quips

This is a follow-up blog article on a previous blog post of mine titled: FCI Assistant Grade Recruitment 2013 Notification, Eligibility & Form, which tells you about the notification as well as how to apply for these positions.

This blog post focuses on providing you the preparation materials for FCI Assistant Grade exam, by discussing about the exam pattern and than pointing you to the sample papers and books for this FCI exam.

FCI Assistant Grade-III Exam Pattern/Syllabus:

Written exam for Assistant Grade III positions would be held on 4th & 5th February, 2012. The paper on 4th February (i.e. Paper-III) is for Technical cadre positions only.

If you are appearing in FCI exam for General, Depot and Accounts positions, you have to appear in Paper-I & Paper-II which will be held on 5th February, 2012. On the other hand, if you are appearing in FCI exam for Technical positions, you have to appear in Paper-III on 4th February & Paper-I on 5th February.

The examination pattern of FCI exam for Assistant Grade III postions along with number of sections per question/mark/duration is as given below:

After you are shortlisted based on above 400 mark written test, you will have to undergo Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) on Word Processing and Excel which will be purely qualifying nature. Only if you qualify in the same, you can get that FCI job.
