A new blog for the SSC Exam Preparation is born - www.sscexamprep.in. It provides you prep materials for the SSC exams as well as News items!

Hi! How are you doing? 

It’s been a while since I last posted on this blog – 104 days to be numerically correct: the last blog article was posted on UPSC CMS Exam on 14th March! So where had I been? I know you may not want to know – but yet I want to tell you that!

I was in fact busy creating a new blog – www.sscexamprep.in. This is a blog which is meant to be a one stop resource for all the information on SSC Exams which are conducted by Staff Selection Commission. If you do not know what these exams are and would like to know about them, you can visit the introductory article: Introduction to SSC Exams. In short, they are the recruiting exams for Central Govt. Jobs.

There are tons of materials already on the net for SSC Exams. So you may ask me why I went ahead and created this blog. Am I a nut who has plenty of time and therefore wants to fritter away thus? 

No! Actually, while writing for the SSC Examinees in this blog (i.e. Career Quips), I found that most of the prep materials available on the net for SSC Exams are available, but scattered everywhere – you literally have to hop from site to site to collect the information you want.

In few sites, where the prep materials are presented in some cohesive manner, you do not find that they are updated with current information. Than again, where the prep materials are available, you do not get critical information like when that exam is going to be held? when would the application form be available?

Thus, while prep materials are available in some sites, the news items are available in some others!

So I thought why not make a blog which would provide all these features such as:

1.0 Provide latest information on SSC Exam:

i) Exam Notification

ii) Availability of Admit Card

iii) Declaration of Result.

2.0 Provide Prep Materials such as:

       A) Introduction about the exam:

i) Tell what the exam is all about.

ii) Show how competitive the exam is.

iii) Tell what are the cut-off marks required.

iv) Spell-out Eligibility Criteria for the exam.

B) Provide the materials for instant use:

i) Exam Prep-tips.

ii) Syllabus for the exam.

iii) Exam Pattern.

iv) Sample papers/ Previous Years exam papers.

v) Prep Books.

With this objectives, I created the blog for SSC Exam Prep Materials. The blog is in its infancy - released for the public view only from 17th May, 2015. It at present provides the information only for two exams - SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam and SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) CHSL Exam - as the notifications for only these two exams have come out recently and exams are going to be conducted soon. Information for other exams would be presented, when their notification comes out.

I honestly hope SSC Exam Prep would also receive the tremendous response you gave to Career Quips, which reached a major milestone of 15 + million page-hits. I would also like to request you to share about the blog in your social circle: Facebook, Google+ & Twitter, as some needy soul may be aspiring for a Central Govt. Job.
