Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has published the advertisement for recruitment of 700 Head Constable (Ministerial) vacancies and submission of application form is in progress. If you have passed Class-12 and you are within 25 years of age, you are eligible to sit for the CISF Head Constable Exam 2015.

Duties/Job role of Head Constable (Ministerial) in CISF:
Salary offered:
They are offered the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 2400/- + other benefits.
Number of vacancies:
There are 700 vacancies in total, out of which 103 are for Departmental candidates who are already working in CISF in a sub-ordinate level. So the rest 597 vacancies are for open recruitment.

Selection Process for CISF Head Constables:
The selection consists of a four-stage process as given in the table below:
Yes, after you qualify the Physical Standard test (PST), you would be called for the Written Exam followed by Skill test norms on computer. It is only after you cross these three stages that Medical Examination would be done and if you are found fit as per "SHAPE-1" medical standard, than you are offered the Head Constable job.
Let us go for each of these stages one-by one.
Physical Standard test:
In this, you are required to have following physical attributes:
Male:
Height: 165 cms (For ST & candidates from Hilly regions: 162.5 Cms)
Chest: Unexpanded- 77 cm, Expanded-82 Cms. For ST: Unexpanded- 76 cm, Expanded-81 Cms.
Female:
Height: 155 cms (For ST & candidates from Hilly regions: 150 Cms)
Hilly regions: Candidates belonging to Garhwalis, Kumaoni, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and eight NE states.
The written test comprises of 100 questions which carries 100 marks with duration 2 hours. There are four test sections: General Intelligence, Arithmetic, General Studies/Elementary science, General English or Hindi.

Skill test norms on computer:
You would be tested whether you posses following typing test for 10 minutes:
English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on computer or
Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on computer
With average of 5 key depressions for each word, above is equivalent to 10500 KDPH in English / 9000 KDPH in Hindi. Here KDPH stands for Key Depressions Per Hour.
You would be checked if you meet the SHAPE-1 medical standard. SHAPE stands for following acronym:
S - Psychiatric problems,
H - Hearing (Ear diseases)
A - Appendages pertains to the problems of upper or lower limbs, that is arms and legs
P - Factor is related to other disease like Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Cardiac disease (Heart Diseases), Diabetes (High Sugar), Obesity (being Fat - overweight), Cancer, etc.
E - Eye sight or Eye diseases

CISF Head Constables Exam 2015 Application Form:
To know how to apply for this CISF job, please refer to section "VII. HOW TO APPLY" in page-7 of the notification. The application fee is only Rs. 50/=. SC/ST/Women and Ex-servicemen are exempted from this fee.
CISF Head Constable Recruitment 2015 Application Form is given from page: 11 of the notification.
Last date for receipt of the form is 14th March.2015 (21st March.2015 for residents of North East region, Sikkim, Ladhakh division of J&K Stata, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of HP, Andaman & Nicobar island and lakswadweep).
