SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has last Saturday issued advertisement for recruitment of 2328 Sub-Inspector (SI) and 564 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI). This huge vacancy of police personnel is for 2197 Sub-Inspector in six CAPF (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB), 131 SI in Delhi Police and 564 Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF. Eligibility for SSC CAPF/Delhi Police Recruitment:
Age:( as on 01-01-2014):
Min: 20, Max: 25 years.
Academic Qualification:
Graduation (i.e. Bachelor Degree) in any disciplined from a recognised university Or Equivalent.
Selection Process for recruitment of SI & ASI in CAPF & Delhi Police:
It is a 4-stage selection process - The written exam (paper-I) would be held on 22nd June, followed by Physical Endurence Test (PET) & Medical Examination.
Those shortlisted would be called for the written exam (paper-II) to be held on 21st September. Thereafter Interview would be conducted who would clear the cut-off to be decided based on relative performance of all the candidates.

SSC CAPF/Delhi Police Exam 2014 Important Dates:
Submission of form (online/offline) starts: 15th March, 2014.
Last date of form submission: 09-04-2014 (Part-I) & 11-04-2014 (Part-II)
Date of written exam (Paper-I): 22.06.2014.
Date of written exam (Paper-II): 21.09.2014.
Exam Centres:
You can appear in SSC CAPF exam in any of the centres as given in section "7. Centres Of Examination" in page 9-10 of the notification. But however please note that you have to submit your application form in only that Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of SSC corresponding to that exam centre.

CAPF/Delhi Police Exam 2014 Admit Card/Call Letter:
You can download the Admit Card/Call Letter (called as "Admission Certificate" by SSC) from the website 2-weeks prior to exam i.e. from 07.06.2014 onward. Detailed info on this is given in "15. Admission To The Examination" in page 17 of the notification.
