Selection Process for above positions through APSC Exam 2013 consists of a 2-stage written exam: Prelims & Mains, followed by Interview.
Marks scored in Prelims only for qualifying purpose (i.e. for screening candidates for the Mains). Final merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in APSC Mains exam (1400 marks) & Interview (200 marks).

APSC Combined Competitive Prelims Exam 2013 would be held in following 22 major towns of Assam:
Bongaigaon, Barpeta, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dhemaji, Diphu, Golaghat, Goalpara, Haflong, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Karimganj, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivasagar, Tezpur, Tinsukia And Guwahati.
The APSC Mains Exam 2013 on the other hand will be held in Guwahati only.
Eligibility for APSC Combined Competitive Exam 2013:

Min. 21 years and Max 38 years. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.
Educational Qualification Eligibility:
(as on 19.09.2013)
You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination on last date of form submission are not eligible.
APSC Combined Competitive Exam 2013 Online Application Form:
You have to apply for APSC Combined Competitive Exam only through online application form. There is no offline/physical copy of the form.

from 20th August till 19th September, 2013. The APSC Application Fees is NIL - while submitting the form, you have to pay nominal examination fee, which is Rs 25/- for SC, ST(P) & ST(H) and Rs 50/- for others. This fee has to be deposited only through SBI e-Challan.
