This syllabus for RBI Officer Exam has been reproduced from the exam notification by RBI to help you find the syllabus with ease as well as to preserve the syllabus for future exam like RBI Officer Exam 2014/2015.
As you might have already found out, this syllabus is for the Phase-II exam of RBI i.e. for the Descriptive type papers, scheduled to be held: in October/ November 2013. No syllabus has been prescribed for the Phase-I exam, which is expected to follow the same standard as that for Probation officer (PO) exam for PSU banks such as IBPS CWE PO Exam, SBI PO Exam etc.
As you might have gone through the previous article, RBI Officer Phase-II Exam has three papers, each weighing 100 marks, which has to be answered in 3 hours.

(i) Paper I – English:
Essay, Précis writing, Comprehension and Business/Office Correspondence.
(ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues:

(iii) Paper III – Finance and Management:
