Following the footprints of its PSU Bank brethren, Karnataka Bank, the leading private sector bank in India has just today issued notification for Karnataka Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 for 1000 Bank Clerks, based on IBPS CWE 2011. As per the notification, submission of online application form for  Karnataka Bank  Clerical Recruitment 2012 has started from today (i.e. 21st August, 2012) and the last date of online registration/submission of form is 2nd September, 2012.

If you have been following this blog closely, you must have come to know that sixteen public sector banks had issued recruitment notification in 2012 already for 20,720 clerical positions, as can be seen in the table at right. All this clerical recruitment is being done through IBPS CWE 2011, in which nineteen PSU banks had participated. Only following three banks are yet to issue recruitment notification/advertisements: Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India & Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Similarly, out of the nineteen PSU banks which had participated in IBPS CWE for PO (Probationary Officers), only two bank (i.e. Andhra Bank & Oriental Bank of Commerce) remains to issue recruitment advertisements. The table above gives you the bank-wise number of clerk & PO recruitment through IBPS CWE 2011 so far.
