Notification for Bank of India (BOI) Specialist Officer Recruitment 2012 has been published yesterday for 162 Specialist Officers from the disciplines of Marketing, Law, IT, Technical, HR, Rajbhasha & Agriculture. This BOI Specialist Officer Recruitment would be based on the marks scored in IBPS CWE  2012 for Specialist Officers, which was conducted on 11th March, 2012. Submission of online form has already started and according to the notification, last date to apply online for these positions is 15th July, 2012.

There are 162 Specialist Officer vacant positions in Bank of India with post-wise break up of the vacancies and age eligibility (as on 01.12.2011) as given at right.

Bank of India Specialist Officer Salary:

Bank of India is offering salary in following pay-scales for Specialist & General Banking Officers:

MMG Scale II: Rs. 19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100 (for Law & IT Officer -Scale-II, which needs experience)

JMG Scale I: Rs. 14500- 600/7 - 18700-700/2 – 20100-800/7-25700 (for all other positions)

Bank of India Specialist Officer Recruitment 2012 Eligibility:

Age eligibility (as on 01.12.2011): As given along with the vacancies above.
Academic Qualification eligibility: As per IBPS CWE for the specialist post.

Experience required: Only following two positions needs experiences. Rest are for freshers.
Law Officer(Scale II): 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar.

IT Officer (Scale-II): 1 year

IBPS TWSS cut-off for Bank of India Specialist Officers:
You should have scored minimum 24 (for reserved category 21) in each test of the IBPS CWE  2012 for Specialist Officers.

In addition, minimum IBPS TWSS (Total Weighted Standard Score ) cut-off for Bank of India Specialist Officers is given post-wise in the table at right.

Selection process for BOI Recruitment 2012:

Since you have already appeared in the written exam (i.e.IBPS CWE  2012 for Specialist Officers), the  selection process would now consist of only Interview which is of 100 marks.  Minimum qualifying mark in interview is 50% for General Category and 45% for reserved  categories.

Final merit list would be based on the aggregate of marks scores in IBPS CWE & the Interview.
