This is the seventeenth PO recruitment notification to come out this year - sixteen banks (out of nineteen PSU banks which participated in IBPS CWE 2011) have earlier issued notification for a total.of 17,712 PO jobs. Eligibility for Vijaya Bank PO:
Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)
Min: 20 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum Graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized college/ university.
Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
In each individual test:
General: 24, For reserved categories: 21.
In addition to above, Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined):
For General: 138, For reserved categories: 113.
Vijaya Bank PO Recruitment 2012 Online Form:
You can only apply online for Vijaya Bank Recruitment 2012. There is no offline form.
This online form would be available only from 16th May till 2nd June, 2012.

Vijaya Bank PO Selection Process:
Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of GD (Group Discussion) of 50 marks & Interview of 100 marks. In GD/Interview, you need to score minimum 40% (for reserved category 35%) to be eligible to be considered for merit list.
The interview is conducted to assess the candidates’ academic record, power of expression, clarity of thought, qualities of leadership, extracurricular activities, hobbies, general demeanour, behaviours, communication skills, suitability for the post, etc.
Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on marks scored in IBPS CWE 2011 TWS, GD & Vijaya Bank PO Interview with following total marks distribution:
TWS: 250 marks.
GD: 50 marks.
Interview: 100 marks.
Total: 400 marks.

Intimation regarding date for downloading the call letter for Vijaya Bank PO GD/Interview 2012 would be sent to you to your e-mail id. So you should keep checking your e-mail id (submitted in the online form) for this purpose. You than have to download the call letter from
