Notification for IBPS Common Written Exam (CWE) 2012 for RRBs (Regional Rural Banks) came out recently, details of which can be found in my blog post titled:

Therefore this dedicated blog post is being made to let you know the eligibility for IBPS CWE RRB exam for Officers & Office Assistants. This information has been reproduced from the IBPS CWE RRB 2012 Notification to help archive the same even for the future Common Written Exam for RRB – say IBPS CWE RRB 2013/2014.
IBPS CWE RRB Age Eligibility: (As on 01-06-2012)
For Officer Scale- III: Max: 40 years
For Officer Scale- II: Min: 21 years & Max: 32 years
For Officer Scale- I: Min: 18 years & Max: 28 years
For Office Assistant: Min: 18 years & Max: 28 years
Age relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PWD: 10 years. Please go through the notification to find the other age-relaxations as per Govt rule.
IBPS CWE RRB Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Academic Qualification Eligibility for RRB Office Assistants (i.e. Clerks):
Degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
Essential: Must possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State in which RRB is located and must have passed that language as one of the subjects at Matriculation level.
Experience: Not essential.
Academic Qualification Eligibility for RRB Officer Scale-I:
Degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
Essential: Must possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State in which RRB is located and must have passed that language as one of the subjects at Matriculation level.
Experience: Not essential.
Academic Qualification Eligibility for RRB General Banking Officer (Scale-II):
Minimum 50% aggregate in Degree (any discipline) or its equivalent.
Experience: Min. 2 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Academic Qualification Eligibility for RRB Specialist Officers Scale-II:
Chartered Accountant: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Marketing Officer: Post Graduate Degree in Marketing.
Treasury Manager: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.
Agricultural Officer: Minimum 50% aggregate in Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent.
Experience: Min.1 year
Academic Qualification Eligibility for RRB Officer Scale-III:
Minimum 50% aggregate in Degree (any discipline) or its equivalent.
