HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.) has just yesterday brought out the
recruitment notification 2012 for
103 Officer Trainees and 22
IS Officers. While for the position of Officer Trainee no expereince is required and hence even the freshers can apply, for the position of IS Officers you need to have two years of experience. Submission of Online form has started from yesterday (i.e. 29th May). Last date to apply online for HPCL Officer Trainee Recruitment 2012 is 20th June, 2012.

HPCL Officer Trainees & IS Officer Eligibility:
Eligibility for HPCL Officer Trainee (Engineering):
Age Eligibility: Max 25 years as on 20th June, 2012.
Academic Qualification Eligibility: BE/B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) from recognized institute /University.
Branches: Mechanical, Mechanical & Production, Civil, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Chemical, Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining & Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining.
Eligibility for HPCL Officer Trainee (Quality Control):
Age Eligibility: Max 27 years as on 20th June, 2012.
Academic Qualification Eligibility: PG Degree in Chemistry (Analytical / Physical / Organic / Inorganic), equivalent to M.Sc in Chemistry.
Eligibility for HPCL Officer Trainee (CSR):
Age Eligibility: Max 27 years as on 20th June, 2012.
Academic Qualification Eligibility: 2 years full time Masters in Social Welfare (MSW) from recognized institute.
Eligibility for HPCL Information Systems Officer:
Age Eligibility: Max 30 years as on 20th June, 2012.
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
4- years full time BE/ B.Tech. in the discipline of Electronics / Telecommunications / Electronics & Telecommunications / Computer Science / IT OR
3- years full time course in MCA / Masters in Computer Science (MCS). OR
2- years full time course in MBA / Masters in Management Studies (MMS) with IT or Systems or Computer Science as specialization.
You need to have minimum 60% (For SC, ST & PWD: 50%) in aggregate of all the semesters/ years in above qualifications. Qualifications should be from AICTE approved / UGC recognized institute / university. Final year students completing their qualifying graduate / post graduate degree latest by September 2012, can also apply.
Work experience for IS Officer:
You need to have minimum 2-years post Qualification experience (excluding Project Work which is a part of course curriculum) in one or more skill sets as given in page-4 of the notification.
HPCL Officer Trainees & IS Officer Salary:
Officer Trainee positions are given consolidated Stipend of Rs. 33,000/- per month during training (of six months). Upon successful completion of the same they are absorbed in Management Cadre in “A” grade in the Salary Scale of Rs. 24,900 - 50,500, besides other benefits like DA, HRA, CPF, Gratuity ETC.
CTC for HPCL Officer Trainee is approx. Rs 8.00 lakhs per annum.
HPCL IS Officer will be on Probation for 1 year and are absorbed in Management Cadre in “A” grade in the Salary Scale of Rs. 24,900 - 50,500, besides other benefits like DA, HRA, CPF, Gratuity ETC.
CTC for HPCL IS Officer is approx. Rs 8.00 lakhs per annum.
HPCL Officer Trainees & IS Officer Selection Process:
