
This is the sixteenth PO recruitment notification to come out this year - fifteen banks (out of nineteen PSU banks which participated in IBPS CWE 2011) have earlier issued notification for a total.of 16712 PO jobs. Central Bank of India PO Vacancy 2012:
There are 1000 Probationary Officer vacancies with the category-wise break-up as below:
SC:124; ST:235; OBC:223; GEN: 418, TOT: 1000.
Eligibility for Central Bank of India PO:
Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)
Min: 20 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum Graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized college/ university. AND
Should have a valid IBPS CWE 2011 score card issued by IBPS AND
Should have completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which is be waived where ‘Computers’ is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / post – Graduation level.
Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
In each individual test:
General: 24, For reserved categories: 21.
In addition to above, Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined):
For General: 160, For OBC: 155; For SC: 150; For ST: 130
Central Bank of India PO Recruitment 2012 Online Form:
You can only apply online for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2012. There is no offline form.
This online form would be available only from 11th till 25th May, 2012.

Central Bank of India PO Selection Process:
Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of Interview consisting of 50 marks. In Interview, you need to score minimum 50% (for reserved category 45%) to be eligible to be considered for merit list.
The interview is conducted to assess the candidates’ academic record, power of expression, clarity of thought, qualities of leadership, extracurricular activities, hobbies, general demeanour, behaviours, communication skills, suitability for the post, etc.
Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on marks scored in IBPS CWE 2011 TWS & Central Bank of India PO Interview.
