With this notification by Bank of Maharastra, five banks have so far issued recruitment notification for 7382 clerks - previously four other banks had issued the recruitment notification:
Andhra Bank for 600 clerks,
Dena Bank for 1090 Clerks,
Bank of India: for 3149 clerks &
Bank of Baroda for 2000 clerks. All these banks are recruiting based on
IBPS CWE Clerk 2011 score. The Common Written Exam 2011 was held for 19 major PSU banks of India on 27.11.2011 and the result was declared on 29th Feb, 2012. So remaining 14 banks are very shortly going to follow these recruitment notification for clerks. The number of total Clerk vacancies through IBPS CWE Clerk 2011 should be more than 20,000.

This blog post of mine apprises you about the important information contained in the Bank of Maharastra Clerk Recruitment Notification 2012 to help you apply for the same and also some Bank of Maharastra Interview Question Prep material towards the end.
Bank of Maharastra Clerk Vacancy 2012:
There are 543 Clerk vacancies in Bank of Maharastra as per the notification with category-wise vacancies as given below:
SC: 60; ST: 51; OBC: 123; GEN: 309; POSTS: 543.
You can find the state-wise, category-wise vacancies in page1/2 of the notification. This State-wise vacancy is very important as you have to apply for the clerk positions state-wise and you should be able to read, write, speak local language of that state. Moreover you should have appeared IBPS CWE 2011 from a centre of that state for which vacancies you want to apply.
Bank of Maharastra Clerk Salary:
Salary (i.e. Pay-scale) offered by Bank of Maharastra for these Clerk positions is Basic Pay: Rs.7200 – 19300 with other benefits like DA, HRA, etc.
Bank of Maharastra Eligibility for Clerks:
Age Eligibility (as on 01.08.2011): Min 18 yrs, Max 28 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt rule).
Educational Qualification Eligibility
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class-X (Matriculation)
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class-XII (HSC)
OR
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates just pass marks needed in all of above.
Other Bank of Maharastra Clerk Eligibility:
1.0 You should have appeared IBPS CWE 2011 from a centre in that State/UT for which you wish to apply.
2.0 You should be able to read, write and speak official language of that state.
3.0 You should posses a Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 100 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduation Level.

TWS cut-off mark State-wise, Category-wise:
You can find the state-wise cut-off marks for IBPS CWE TWS (Total Weighted Standard) Score for Bank Of Maharastra in the table at left.
As you can see, for Haryana, Kerela, UP, AP & West Bengal, you need to have the highest CWE TWS score. The least CWE score is required for Tripura etc. For some categories in a particular state (like ST in Haryana) no CWE cut-off has been mentioned in the notification, as for this Bank of Maharastra Recruitment 2012, there is no clerk vacancy for ST category in
Haryana.
Selection Process for Bank of Maharastra Clerks:
Based on the CWE scores of the applicants received by Bank of Maharastra, it is going to shortlist the candidates for personal interview.
There are 50 marks for Interview. For General category candidates, you should score minimum 40% of Interview marks to qualify. For Reserved categories, this Interview cut-off is 35% . The Final merit list would be prepared by totaling the marks scored in IBPS & marks scored in Bank of Maharastra Interview.
Bank of Maharastra Clerk Recruitment 2012 Online Form:
You can apply for Bank of Maharastra (Bank of Maharastra) Clerk Recruitment 2012 only online, There is no offline form. The online form is available from 17th April, 2012 to 10th May, 2012.
