United Bank PO Recruitment 2012 Notification, Eligibility & Forms : Career Quips

United Bank of India has just today issued Recruitment Notification 2012 for 450 PO (Probationary Officers) positions with the selection process based on IBPS CWE Exam 2011 for PO/MT, just like the other 11 PSU banks, which had also issued the recruitment notification similarly. The number of total Bank PO jobs on offer by these twelve PSU banks taken together has increased to 13,812! United Bank PO Vacancy 2012:

There are 450 Probationary Officer vacancies with the category-wise break-up as below:

SC:90; ST:70; OBC:114; GEN: 176, TOT:450.

Salary for United Bank PO:

United Bank is offering following pay-scale for Probationary Officers:

Rs. 14,500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700/=
With this pay-scale, the approximate salary per month is Rs. 23,000/= in addition to which you will be enjoying other perks.

Eligibility for United Bank PO:

Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)

Min: 21 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)

Academic Qualification Eligibility:

Minimum 55% in Graduation/PG or equivalent from a recognized college/ university (For SC/ST/PWD: 50%) AND
Must have successfully completed a computer course of at least six months duration from any Institute recognized by Central/State Government /All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or studied computer as one of the subjects in secondary/ Higher Secondary/ Graduation level under 10 +2+3 System..

Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
In each individual test:

General: 24.

For reserved categories: 21.

In addition to above, Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined):

General: 138.

For reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC): 125.

You can only apply online for United Bank Recruitment 2012. There is no offline form.

United Bank PO Selection Process:

Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of GD followed by Interview. Total mark allotted for GD & Interview is 100. You need to score minimum 40% marks to qualify. This minimum qualifying mark for reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) is 35%.

Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on the marks scored in IBPS CWE 2011 & Interview.
