
This month happens to be a month of PO recruitment by Public sector Banks - while six other banks had already issued recruitment notification for Probationary Officers (PO),
Indian Bank recruitment notification 2012 for
452 Probationary Officers (PO) came out just today. Online submission of application forms for Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2012 starts from 17th February and the last date to apply for this recruitment is 3rd March,2012.
So, those of you who had appeared in IBPS PO/MT CWE exam 2011 conducted by IBPS on 18.09.2011, this is a golden time as the Indian Public Sector Banks have started recruiting based on IBPS CWE score. Result for the IBPS Exam 2011 had been declared on 12th December, 2011. Only eight PSU banks have issued PO recruitment notification for the year 2012 so far, based on IBPS PO/MT CWE exam 2011: Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank,
Corporation Bank,
Canara Bank,
UCO Bank & Punjab National Bank. In addition to these eight banks, 11 other banks will be recruiting through IBPS CWE 2011 score. So expect some more job postings on this blog.

Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)
Min: 21 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/OC/VI/HI) in Graduation or equivalent from a recognized college/ university.
Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
Minimum 24 for General category & 21 for Reserved categories in each individual subjects as given below:

General Awareness [GA]
Computer Knowledge [CK]

Computer Literacy: You should have proficiency in appropriate computer skills / working knowledge of application packages used in office automation/ computer environment.

Indian Bank PO Selection Process:
Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of Interview and/or Group Discussion.
Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on the marks scored in IBPS CWE & GD/Interview.
