Bank of Maharashtra PO Recruitment 2012 Notification Eligibility Forms
Following the job advertisements for PO (Probationary Officers) numbering 10705 by eight PSU banks,  Bank of Maharashtra too has issued today recruitment notification 2012 for 457 PO (Probationary Officers). Online submission of application forms for Bank of Maharashtra PO Recruitment 2012 would start from 25th February and the last date to apply for this recruitment is 16th March,2012. You can Click here to download the Bank of Maharashtra PO Recruitment 2012 notification.

List of the eight PSU banks which had issued recruitment notification earlier based on IBPS CWE score are:
Bank of India PO.
Syndicate Bank PO. 
Union Bank PO. 
Corporation Bank PO.
Canara Bank PO.
Indian Bank PO & 
Punjab National Bank PO.

Following 10 banks will also be recruiting through IBPS CWE 2011 score, job advertisements for which you can expect in next couple of days:

This blog post summarizes the Bank of Maharashtra recruitment notification by quoting the eligibility as well as telling you how to apply online. It also tells you how to prepare for Bank of Maharashtra PO Interview towards the end of this article.

Category-wise PO Vacancy in Bank of Maharashtra for the year 2012:
There are 457 Probationary Officer vacancies with the category-wise break-up as below:
SC:69; ST:34; OBC:123; GEN: 231, TOT:457.


Salary for Bank of Maharashtra PO:
Bank of Maharashtra is offering following pay-scale for Probationary Officers:
Rs. 14,500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700/=
With this pay-scale, the approximate salary per month is Rs. 23,000/= in addition to which you will be enjoying other perks.

Eligibility for Bank of Maharashtra PO:
Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)
Min: 20 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)

Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Graduation or equivalent from a recognized college/ university, preferably with Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).

Also, a certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 100 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduation Level.

Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
In each individual test:
General: 24.
For reserved categories: 21.

Bank of Maharashtra PO Recruitment 2012 Online Form:
You can only apply online for Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2012. There is no offline form.

Bank of Maharashtra PO Selection Process:
Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of Interview which is worth 50 marks. You need to score minimum 50% marks (i.e.25 ) to qualify. The minimum qualifying mark for reserved categories is 45%.

Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on the marks scored in IBPS CWE 2011  & Interview.

Bank of Maharashtra PO Interview 2012 Call Letter/ Admit Card:
