
Allahabad Bank becomes the tenth bank in a row of nineteen Indian PSU banks to publish recruitment notification for bank PO (Probationary Officers) - just yesterday Allahabad Bank has issued recruitment notification 2012-13 for
1600 PO (Probationary Officers). This takes the total number of Bank PO jobs offered so far this year to 12,762. Eligibility for Allahabad Bank PO:
Age Eligibility: (As on 01.07.2011)
Min: 20 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt. rule)
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Graduation or equivalent from a recognized college/ university AND
Working knowledge in Computer Operation with Certificate/ Diploma/Degree in Computer operations/Language OR
Studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ Colleges/Institutes.
Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011:
In each individual test:
General: 24.
For reserved categories: 21.
In addition to above, Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined):
General: 125.
For reserved categories: 112.

You can only apply online for Allahabad Bank Recruitment 2012. There is no offline form.
Allahabad Bank PO Selection Process:
Since you have already appeared in IBPS CWE, there will be no more written test. Selection process will now consist of Group Discussion (GD) followed by Interview. GD would be for qualifying purpose only, to screen the candidates for Interview. The Interview is worth 35 marks - You need to score minimum 40% marks (i.e.14 ) to qualify. The minimum qualifying mark for reserved categories is 35%.
Final merit list for the selected candidates would be based on the marks scored in IBPS CWE 2011 & Interview.
