ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2012 Notification Eligibility Forms

ISRO had few days back issued recruitment notification 2011-2012 for 550 Administrative staffs - 324 Assistants & 226 Junior Personal Assistants. These jobs are for Freshers as prior experience is not a requisite. Last date to apply online for these Admin Assistant positions is 14th December, 2011.

Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the leading Centres of ISRO - it designs space borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO. Among other activities, SAC designs and develops all the transponders for the INSAT and GSAT series of communication satellites.

ISRO Assistant Vacancy 2012:

There are 324 Assistants & 226 Junior Personal Assistants positions on offer with category-wise break-up as below:

Assistants: UR: 184; OBC: 87; SC: 32; ST: 21, Total: 324

Junior Personal Assistant: UR: 139; OBC: 53; SC: 25; ST: 9, Total: 226

Salary for ISRO Assistant:

Pay-scale offered by ISRO for these Admin Assistant position is: Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/-.

Selection process for ISRO Assistants:

Based on your online form data, ISRO is going to shortlist the candidate for the written test to be held on 26th February, 2012 (Sunday) at six city/towns: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram.

On being selected in the ISRO Assistants written exam 2012, you would be called for Interview for the final selection.

Eligibility for ISRO Assistants/ Junior Personal Assistants:

Age eligibility : Max. 26 years as on 14th December, 2011.

(Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)

Academic qualification eligibility for Assistants:

First class in graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications.

+ Knowledge in the use of Computers.

Academic qualification eligibility for Junior Personal Assistants:

Either 1st class in graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications OR 1st class Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial practice with 1-year experience as Steno-typist/ Stenographer

+ Minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography.

+ Knowledge in the use of Computers.

ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2012 Online Form:

You have to apply only online for these Admin assistant positions – there is no offline application form.

There are two stages of application: First you have to submit the form online. You than have to download and print the personalized fee payment challan, visit the nearest SBI, pay the fee and than send the ISRO copy of the challan to the following address:
