Exam notification for CBSE AIPMT 2012 exam has just been announced today by CBSE. This notification has come as a big relief to the medical college aspirants, as it has ended months of confusion regarding whether or not AIPMT 2012 would be held - NEET UG (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Under Graduate) was supposed to replace AIPMT 2012.

Important dates for CBSE AIPMT 2012:

Date of AIPMT 2012 form submission: 26.12.2011 to 25.01.2012.
Date of AIPMT 2012 form submission (with late fee): 26.01.2012 to 08.02.2012.
Date of AIPMT 2012 form submission (with enhanced late fee): 09.02.2012 to 24.02.2012.

Last date for receipt of confirmation page/completed form in CBSE corresponding to above dates:
02.02.2012, 15.02.2012 & 02.03.2012

Date of AIPMT 2012 Preliminary Examination - 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)

Date of AIPMT 2012 Final Examination - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday).

Eligibilities for CBSE AIPMT exam:

i) You must be an Indian national.
ii) Academic eligibility (Minimum percentage) for AIPMT:

50% for General category student & 40% for SC/ST/OBC category student in Physics, Chemistry Biology taken together (i.e. aggregate). Also students should pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects individually.

iii) Age eligibility (Minimum percentage) for AIPMT:

Minimum 17 years at the time of admission or on 31st December of the year of admission. Maximum 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC students.

iv) You can attempt AIPMT for a maximum number of 3 (three) attempts.

v) Final year Class-XII students (who are appearing Class-XII final in 2012) can also appear in the exam provided he meets all other eligibilities as given above.

CBSE AIPMT 2012 Online Form:

You can apply only Online for AIPMT 2012. There is no Offline AIPMT 2012 application form.
How to apply online is given clearly in page-8 of the Information Bulletin. The three steps for online application are as follows:
1). Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Registration Number.
2). Make payment of Fee through Demand Draft or Credit Card.
3). Take a printout of Confirmation Page and send to CBSE.

CBSE AIPMT 2012 Admit Card:

CBSE is not going to send you the admit card/call letter for AIPMT 2012.
You have to download the admit cards from this AIPMT 2012 website on following dates:

For Preliminary Examination : 09.03.2012
For Final Examination : 27.04.2012
