 IB (Intelligence Bureau) had few days back issued recruitment notification 2011 for 750 vacancies of ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) Grade II. If you are a graduate, you can apply for these positions, last date for application for which is 22nd June, 2011.

What is Intelligence Bureau, India: IB is India's internal intelligence agency (the external intelligence agency being RAW-Research and Analysis Wing) under ministry of home affairs, Govt. of India. Its basic function is to garner intelligence from within India and also execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. Its employee consists of those from law enforcement agencies, mostly from the Indian Police Service and the military. IB is headed by Director Intelligence Bureau (a senior IPS officer). Its Employee strength is believed be around 25,000. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer in Grade-II for which this recruitment advertisement has been made is a Non-Gazetted Group 'C' Officer, equivalent to a Sub-inspector.
IB ACIO Vacancies 2011: Category-wise vacancy ACIO positions of Intelligence Bureau is as follows: GEN: 380, OBC: 202, SC: 112, ST: 56. Total: 750.
Salaries for IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers: Intelligence Bureau is offering salary in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (plus usual Central Govt. allowances) for Assistant Central Intelligence Officers.
Eligibilities for IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers: Age Eligibility: (as on 22.06.2011 – last date of application) Max: 27 years. Age relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Govt. Employee (with 3 years experience): up to 40 years.
Academic Qualification Eligibility: Minimum Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computer . Written exam centers for IB ACIO recruitment: IB ACIO exam 2011 would be held in 32 cities/towns all over India as given below: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Trivandrum, Varanasi, Vijaywada.

IB ACIO Exam 2011 Admit Card: You can download the Admit Card for IB ACIO Exam 2011 within one week of the closing date of Application i.e. 22.06.2011.
