  ASRB (Agricultural Assistants Recruitment Board) of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) has just today issued recruitment notification for 267 Assistants and you can apply for these positions till 17th June, 2011.
But before that a small primer on what is ICAR:
What is ICAR: Indian Council of Agricultural Research is the apex body for co-ordinating, guiding and managing research and education in agriculture including horticulture, fisheries and animal sciences in the entire country. With 97 ICAR institutes and 45 agricultural universities spread across the country ICAR is one of the largest national agricultural systems in the world.
ICAR ASRB Assistant vacancies 2011: There are a total of 267 Assistants with category-wise break-up as below: Gen: 196, SC:15, ST:8, OBC:40, PH:8, Total:267.
ICAR ASRB Assistants salaries: Salaries being offered by ICAR for these Assistants position is: Pay Scale : Rs 9300-34800 + Rs 4600 and Rs 4200 (Grade Pay).
ICAR ASRB Assistant Recruitment 2011 Important Dates: Submission of form starts from: 17th May, 2011. Last date for submission of ICAR ASRB forms: 17th June, 2011. Date for downloading ICAR ASRB Exam Admit Card: July 1st week, 2011. Date for ICAR ASRB recruitment Prelims Exam: 11th July, 2011. Date for ICAR ASRB recruitment Mains Exam: August, 2011.
Selection process for Assistant in ICAR ASRB: Selection process for the position of assistants in ICAR ASRB consists of an all India written test. The written test is held at two stages: Prelims for screening and than Mains. Eligibilities for ICAR Assistant/ Programme Coordinator: Age Eligibility: (as on 01.07.2011) Min: 20 years, Max: 27 years. Relaxations exist as per Govt. rule.
Academic Eligibility: You need to be a graduate from a recognized university from India.
ICAR ASRB Recruitment Application form 2011:  You can apply for these Assistant positions in ICAR either offline of online.
ICAR ASRB Offline form 2011: Even though you would like to feel the application form offline, you have to register first in the ICAR ASRB website and than download the ICAR ASRB offline form 2011 & Exam Fee payment Challan.
ICAR ASRB Online form 2011: In this case, after registration, you have to fill the ICAR recruitment form online.
