 IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) today has just last week issued recruitment notification for 265 Staffs and this blog post has been made to tell you in a nutshell about the notification and also how to apply for it. 265 Staffs required as per IOCL Recruitment Notification are for following positions:
Junior Business Assistant – (Grade-III): 65 posts. Junior Chargeman – (Grade-III) . Junior Operator – (Grade-I) IOCL is offering following pay-scales for these positions: Junior Business Assistant – (Grade-III): : Rs.11900 – 32000. Aprox CTC: Rs. 3.8 to 4.08 Lakhs Junior Chargeman – (Grade-III) Rs.11900 – 32000. Aprox CTC: Rs. 3.8 to 4.08 Lakhs Junior Operator – (Grade-I) Aprox CTC: Rs. 3.3 to 3.6 Lakhs
Eligibilities for :
Age Eligibility: Minimum: 18 years & Maximum 32 years as on 01/02/2011.
Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.
Educational Qualification/experience Eligibility:
Eligibilities for Junior Business Assistant:
i). 2nd Class Graduate or Graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (where University awards no class) from a recognized University. Only regular course (not through distance mode or Part time). ii). Computer typing speed of 40 w.p.m. (35 w.p.m. for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates). Computer Literacy in Microsoft Word & Excel is Essential.
Experience required: Minimum 1-year, after graduation Work experience (excluding training and apprenticeship period) for General & OBC (8 months for SC/ ST/ PWD) in a commercial enterprise/manufacturing organization/ Govt. dept./ PSU with sound knowledge of computer operation.
Eligibilities for Junior Chargeman: Diploma in Engineering (Govt Recognised 3 years course) in any one of the following branches – Electronics/ Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical.
Experience required: Minimum 1-year,after Diploma Work experience (excluding training and apprenticeship period) for General & OBC (8 months for SC/ ST/ PWD) in a commercial enterprise/manufacturing organization/ Govt. dept./ PSU.
Eligibilities for Junior Operator: SSC with ITI Certificate (Govt Recognised 2 years course) in any one of the following trades – i. Electronics/Instrumentation/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant). ii. Electrical/Electrician. iii. Mechanical/Equipment Mechanical/Mechanical Equipment (Chemical)/Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical)/Attendant Operator (Chemical)/Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)/Machinist. iv. Fitter/Marine Fitter.
Experience required: Minimum 1-year, after ITI Work experience (excluding training and apprenticeship period ) for General, & OBC (8 months for SC/ ST/ PWD) in a manufacturing organization/ Govt. dept./ PSU. IOCL Staff Selection process:The selection process consists of a written test for all the three positions - i.e. Junior Business Assistant, Junior Chargeman & Junior Operator. This test will be conducted in IOCL written test centers in 14 cities: New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati, Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Cochin & Chennai.
On being shortlisted in the written test, you would be called for Trade test if you are applying for BCW i.e. Junior Chargeman & Junior Operator positions which would be held at four metros - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. Thereafter you would be finally be called for Personal Interview.
On the other hand if you had applied for WCW i.e. Junior Business Assistant positions, on being shortlisted in the written test, you would be called for Personal Interview to be held at four metros - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.
