There was a major change from AIPMT-2010 onwards: the CBSE PMT Final exam was also made Objective type. The AIPMT final was Descriptive type in previous years. Schedule of CBSE AIPMT-2011 Exam: CBSE PMT exam is held in two stages (Prelims & Final) with exam schedules as below:
Preliminary Examination - April 03, 2011 (Sunday): Objective type
The CBSE PMT Preliminary Examination consists of a single paper containing 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). This paper needs to be completed in 3 hours (10.00 AM to 1.00 PM).
Each answer has four answer options from which you need to choose the single correct answer and mark it in the machine-gradable answer sheet by darkening the circle for the option completely with a Ball Point Pen only.

You need to take care while darkening the circle for the correct option – the circle should be darkened completely. The answer sheet is evaluated through OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software and hence if the circle is not darkened properly, the answer would come as a blank answer to OCR! How to mark the answer correctly? Just see it from the picture at left, which shows wrong/right way of marking 8 questions. Final Examination - May 15, 2011 (Sunday): Objective type
