NRL (Numaligarh Refinery Limited) has just few days back issued recruitment notification for the session 2010-2011 for 26 GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) & 4 MT (Management Trainee) positions, last date of application for which is 9th December, 2010.

NRL (Numaligarh Refinery Limited) is a a group company of oil major Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited with Oil India Limited & Govt. of Assam being its shareholders. This 3 MMTPA refinery was dedicated to the nation by the erstwhile Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri A. B. Vajpayee on 9th July, 1999. Commercial production of NRL commencement of from October, 2000 and since from than, it has been making profits consistently - in FY 2008-2009, it made a

Profit After Tax of Rs. 235.64 crore.

Besides refining, it has also diversified into retail marketing of petroleum products and has earned a good name for its quality product and attractive retail outlets.

Current vacancies in NRL:
Current vacancies in NRL is for 26 26 GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) & 4 MT (Management Trainee) positions with category-wise break up as below:

Salaries for GET/MT in NRL:

NRL is offering consolidated stipend of Rs.17,500/- per month for the GET. On completion of 1 year training period, they will be appointed as Officers Grade `A’ with a probationary period of 12 months on a pay scale of Rs.24,900 –50,500.

NRL GET & MT Selection process:

Written test for above positions in NRL may or may not be held, depending on the number of eligible candidates. If the same is conducted, it would be followed by interview.

NRL GET & MT Recruitment Eligibility:
Age eligibility: Max. 30 years as on 01.11.2010. Relaxations exist as per Govt. rule.

Academic qualification Eligibility for Graduate Engineer Trainee:

First class Engineering Graduates having minimum 65% marks in aggregate in the discipline of Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation /Metallurgical Engineering.

Academic qualification Eligibility for Management Trainee (HR):

First Class Engineering Graduates with 2 years full time course in MBA with specialization in Human Resource / PGDM (HR) recognized as equivalent to MBA by AICTE / AIU (Association of Indian Universities).

Academic qualification Eligibility for Management Trainee (Business Development):

First Class Engineering Graduates with 2 years full time course in MBA with specialization in Finance / PGDM (Finance) recognized as equivalent to MBA by AICTE / AIU (Association of Indian Universities).

After filling up the form, you have to send it to the following address along with the required documents to the following address:

NRL GET Exam Pattern, Sample Papers & Books:
